Your first appointment
Your first meeting with Advice First is at our cost, not yours. We prefer the first meeting to be a relaxed discussion and free from obligation, with each party having the following primary thought:
YOU – deciding if you are comfortable dealing with us…are we the right firm for you.
US – being certain that we are able to assist you and add value to your financial world.
You should generally allow 90 minutes for this initial meeting. Also, we encourage you to bring along others to the meeting – if that might make you feel more comfortable. It is not unusual for a new client to bring along their: partner, accountant or a family member.
We often “digitally record” our client meetings, and there are several reasons for this:
- so that we have a perfect account of the conversation
- we are perfectionists, and listening back a second or third time ensures we don’t miss anything…kind of like when you watch a movie again, you always seem to pick up things you didn’t quite notice the first time around
- it allows other staff in the firm to fully appreciate your position – they hear it in YOUR WORDS, rather than just reading it in OUR NOTES
Of course, we will respect your wishes to not have conversations recorded, if that is your preference.
