Financial Adviser

I have been working in the finance industry for over 8 years both in commercial finance and financial planning. I joined the Advice First team in late 2019 as a Financial Adviser. I have gained experience in helping people to save for their first home; helping families to build wealth for retirement, become debt free; and also helping retirees to set themselves up for retirement and maintain their quality of life.

I get a great sense of achievement when my clients achieve their financial goals. Financial planning for me is successfully positioning someone so that they can afford to fully experience life, today and in retirement. Financial Planning provides me with the sense of purpose I sought after leaving the military. The military provided me with physical challenges and an appreciation for the life I lead now.

I was born in Brisbane and grew up as a kid in Mackay. I have spent over 12 years living in the United Kingdom where I met my wife who, being from Wales is a rugby fanatic. I love rowing, watching Australia beat Wales in the rugby and watching my son grow from a baby to a toddler.
